This super detail upgrade set fits all versions of Wingnut Wings Albatros D.V and D.Va. The parts have been tailored to accomodate Gaspatch’s exquisite LMG 08/15 “Spandau” machine guns with minimal modifications required*.

Frame 5 with integrated forward MG mounts. This part is interchangeable with WNW kit part A22. Besides not having unfortunately situated ejection pin marks, our version, has much finer detail around the MG mounts and includes the synchronizer cable mounting points missing on the kit. It corrects some minor errors as well.
Rear MG Mount with Morell Tachometer. These parts replace kit parts A2 and A10. Our mount has crisp detail and our Morrell Tachometer accurately captures the distinctive shape of the original. Provision is made for the modeller to add a hand throttle scratched from suitable wire.
Left and Right Ammunition Cans. These detail parts replace kit part A18. The modeller is encouraged to toss kit part A42 (the cross bar that secures the cans) with a length of .8mm brass tube.
Empty Belt Collector Troughs and Container. Replaces kit part A33, and features an open inboard trough and open container top, per the original, as well as other fine details.
*To fit our MG mounts, the mounting bolt detail on the Gaspatch Spandaus should be carefully sanded off. See image below.
