1/32 Macchi C.202 Folgore Canopy Set

A multimedia set consisting of printed windscreen and canopy hood frames, to be completed with acetate windows. The sliding side windows on the hood fit into finely rendered tracks such that they can be positioned open, closed or anything in between.

Included are acetate blanks along with jigs to precisely trim the windscreen side windows, along with tools to heat-form the curved upper hood glazing and trim it to size.

The canopies come in two variations:

• Early -Windscreen front window is unarmored. Set includes acetate blank for the front window and a tool to trim it precisely.

• Late -Windscreen is armored. Set includes a 3D printed clear part for the thick armored glass, along with a tool to hold the armored glass while polishing.

Check your references before ordering. (All the marking options for the new tool Italeri kit are for late model Folgore’s.)
