1/32 Macchi C.202 Folgore Hinge Covers

This item was requested by master modeler Gregg Cooper, who does not like the kit PE offerings, complaining that they are too stiff to be realistic. These are essentially 1 for 1 replacements for kit PE parts 52, 53 and 58. Note that the hinge covers for the horizontal stabilizer should not be used!

I have to admit I was pretty dubious about this offering, not really seeing the advantage over the kit PE, but Gregg all but begged that I make them, insisting that the PE is too stiff and breaks off too easily. In his words “The brass is too rigid, too thick, and difficult to keep glued to the model correctly when the control surfaces are animated. The parts he made are exquisite and have an authentic look when installed.”

The set contain 24 “#52,” 12 “#53” and 6 “#58.”
