A correction part for the new tool Italeri 1/32 Macchi C.202 kit. It seems the kit designers based their spinner on the C.202 survivor at the Museo Storico Aeronautica Militare which unfortunately sports a modified C.205 Veltro spinner which is incorrect in several aspects — too long, hole too large, etc.
Retooled in 2025 based on new information (access to the only known surviving C.202 spinner — the specimen held by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum).
